The most important Economic Development accomplishments of 2010 include the facilitation of a strategic planning meeting for the Economic Development District Board, the move to a full-time Community and Economic Development Planner position, technical assistance to the region’s communities, including with Economic Development Administration and other grants, and the work to develop a statewide project that will give the Heart of Texas a robust new regional economic development web site with data, mapping, and informational features.
