The Law Enforcement Training Advisory Committee (LETAC) was conceived as a requirement of the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education (TCLEOSE) as an advisory committee for Contract Providers and held its first meeting in September 2008.  The LETAC objectives include advising the HOTCOG Law Enforcement Training Program staff on subject matter and other course options that will benefit the regional law enforcement community.  It reports to the HOTCOG Executive Committee.
