Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas

Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas is a workforce development board in partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission. It’s programs are geared to both employers and job seekers. Hiring assistance includes referrals, customized job training programs, job listings, job fair assistance, labor market information, testing and assessment, outplacement services, and layoff aversion strategies. For job seekers, qualified personnel help with services like job application assistance, job readiness and job search workshops, career exploration, child care assistance, unemployment insurance information, and GED assistance. Specific programs include Child Care Services, Veteran Services, Adult Education and Literary Services, Vocational Rehabilitation for people with disabilities and Youth Services.
