C.E.R.T Interest Form and Training Opportunities

Remember, if a major disaster occurs, fire, paramedics, police response to your location may be delayed. They will be deployed FIRST to major incidents such as collapsed buildings and large fires. That is why you MUST be prepared to take care of yourself. In the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) course, a major philosophy taught is “The Greatest Good for the Greatest Number of People.” When you are trained, you are far more equipped to deal with your circumstances without needing aid from outside sources. Thus, enhancing your chances of survival before, during, and post disaster.

CERT members are trained in basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. You will learn how to prepare for emergencies, what supplies you should have NOW in your house, how much food and water to ration, but most importantly, what response actions will protect your family in an emergency!

If you are interested in learning more about how you can get involved with this program fill out the contact form and we will reach out to your request.
