HOTCOG’s Environmental Development Programs Help Texas’ Environment!

The Heart of Texas Council of Governments (HOTCOG) has created and sustained pivotal environmental development programs that are helping the environment here in Texas! HOTCOG’s environmental development programs are designed to use knowledge and apply actions to environmental issues in the state of Texas. These actions can improve air quality, reduce ozone formations, enhance health, and more!

Two of HOTCOG’s biggest initiatives in environmental development are the air quality program and the solid waste program. The air quality program is dedicated to improving air quality and ozone standards. The solid waste program is dedicated to educating the public about reducing, reusing, and recycling materials consumed daily.
